I decided to start a blog after I had already finished this card. So in future I will make sure to write down what colour markers I use on what stamps.
I started with a piece of white A4 cardstock. I cut this down into an A6 size card. I then cut a slightly smaller size of green card and then again an even slightly smaller piece of white thick cardstock.
I stuck the green card onto the white A6 card I made and set those to the side.
On the thicker and smallest piece of white card, I used the cloud stencil and lighter colour blue ink to make the cloud shapes 3/4’s of the way down the card. I then used the darker blue around the edges of the clouds for a bit of shadow.
I did the same with a grass stencil and some green ink on the bottom of the card to give the grass some dimension. I then let this dry.
Whilst that was drying, I stamped ‘Hope your birthday is’ onto some scrap white card and then cut it down into a flag style. I then stamped all the pieces I needed, the dinosaurs and volcano and coloured them in. I will in future share what colours I used and where. I then used my sizzex big shot plus to cut these out.
Once the card was dry, I stuck the decorated card on top of the ready made card. It now has a green border and then a white behind that.
I stuck the purple dinosaur and volcano down with glue tape, and the rest, including the writing, I stuck down with 3D foam tape. I then used PVA glue to stick down the 3D stars in random places and finished it off with some stickles glitter glue in stardust.
On the inside of the card I stamped Roarsome straight onto the card.
I really enjoyed making this card and can’t wait to use more Lawnfawn stamps!
